Claire Yates

I have over 12 years experience in Economic Development and Regeneration. I specialise in
strategy development, all elements of project/programme life cycle and relish the challenges posed
by the ever-changing regeneration environment.

I have gained a wealth of experience, working for three Local Authorities in the North East of England, most
recently as Head of Regeneration, this has allowed me to work with a wide range of public, private, voluntary
and community sector organisations.

Thorough research and strong partnerships are essential to effective regeneration and I have direct
experience of developing both. I have a professional outlook, excellent verbal and written communication skills,
I am a good facilitator and I have extensive experience of multi-agency working/co-operation.
